Evaluation Shear Bond Strength of Three Self- Adhesive Resin Cements Bond to Different Substrates

Aims: This study aims to evaluate the shear bond strength of three types dual-cure self-adhesive resin cement (SARCs) bonded different substrates with detection failure, EDX analysis for substrates, control substrate, and after applications. Materials methods: Thirty specimens from enamel same number dentin zirconia are prepared. Zirconia discs prepared by CAD-CAM system. Dental intact surface 3rd molar premolar dentin. After teeth sectioning, all embedded in auto-cure acrylic a plastic tube. All were polished sandpaper sandblasting, rubber mold was fixed on specimen. Three dual-cures applied curing kept distilled water at 37 ºC inside incubator 24 hours. Then subjected universal test machine failure occurs examined under stereomicroscope detect mode failure. enamel, dentin, without any treatment, nine send analysis. Results: The results this analyzed SPSS 25 edition, showed no significant difference (SBS) between bonds while zirconia, there SBS cement. Failure detected examination shows when BisCem® TheraCem®Ca, but RelyX™U200 difference. presence Calcium, Phosphorus ions TheraCem®Ca not present using other two amount calcium phosphorus one specimen another related type substrate compare group. Conclusion: TheraCem ®Ca improvement due its composition such as acidic monomer MDP ions. BisCem RelyXU200 show better performance tooth structure comparable zirconia.
